This laser diode module projects a red crosshair. The focus can be adjusted. It is designed for 4.5V operation (3 batteries). Red wire = positive, black wire = negative.
The lable on the module states this to be a class IIb laser (< 5 mW), wavelength 630-660 nm.
I have no more data, and I do not know whether this module has been used or what the remaining life time will be.
