This is very fast (up to 40 MHz) 8-bit A/D converter. It is typically used to digitize a video (TV) signal.
I do not sell a suitable DIP socket, but you could cut a piece from a CON-CUP32 or take a larger socket (DIP-40-L-(5), DIP-40-Q) and cut it to length, or use only a part of it.
DIP-ZIF40 is a ZIF socket that could be used with this chip.
