This chip translates the two bi-directional I2C signals each to two unidirectional signals, that can for instance be transmitted over longer distances using suitable buffers, or isolated using optocouplers.
This chip is in a SOIC case, *not* in DIP.
The PCB-01 can be used to use this chip in a DIP socket, breadboard, etc.
