This a dual 2.3W 9V 4 Ohm audio aplifier. It can also be used as single bridge aplifier, delivering 4.6W at 9V, 8 Ohm.
This chip is in a package the size of a 16 pin DIP package, but the middle two pins on each side are combined into two heatsink tabs. If you want to use a 16-pin DIP socket you should bent the heatsink tabs upwards, and you might want to connect the heatsinks to a real heatsink.
