This is a standard USB to Centronics (parallel) converter. Complete with software (win95, 98, 2000, XP). The foto shows a blister which will be removed to fit in the package.
This converter creates a windows (virtual) printer port. This is not a (virtual) parallel port (unfortunately, such a thing does not exist on windows). Hence this converter can not be used with software that uses the parallel port for a non-printing purpose.
