This is a small three-phase stepper motor (20 mm diameter, 15 mm high without axis). It has three coils of 65 Ohm DC each, which are connected in a star: use the red, blue and yellow wires, leave the white/black wires unconnected. The motor has 15 steps per revolution. When 5 Volt is applied the motor draws very little current (a PIC can drive the motor directly, but do not forget the 6 suppressor diodes!) but it is not very powerfull. I think the motor is meant to be run at 12 Volt.

The circuit below shows a driver circuit and a phase diagram for the three phases.

This is a surplus product. It was obtained from a surplus store, from an inventory or from any other secondary source. You can expect this product to be in good working condition, but it can show signs of being handled, shipped, repackaged etc. The supply of a surplus article can suddenly run out, or the price can change. Get it while it is available.
