This sound switch module will switch a light load on at a loud sound, especially higher frequencies, like breaking glass or clapping your hands. Remove the power (3..5 Volt) to turn the switch off again. Consists of a PCB (50 x 50 mm) with a microphone, transistor, SCR, a potmeter to set the sensitivity and a few other components.
