This is a DIY kit that provides an easy introduction to the use of LCD display. It contains a 16x2 LCD and the means to connect it to a PC printer port (printer cable not included). It also contains a DS1820 temperature sensor / termostat chip that can be used to read the temperature to show it on the LCD, or (after programming) as an independent termostat.
