This een module with the ESP8266 WiFi chip, a USB-to-serial converter, a 3.3V regulator, two switches and a LED. This ESP8266 module has both an on-board PCB trace antenna. The pins are on the standard 2.54 mm grid, but in a solderless beradboard there will be no holes left for connecting wires.
